Manningham City Council and Each Social and Community health are pleased to be partnering to deliver Manningham youth services for young people who live, work, study or have significant connections to Manningham. EACH will deliver these services under the EPIC service model: Empower, Partner, Innovate, Connect. The EPIC service model aims to deliver a responsive and youth-friendly service that meets the needs of all young people living in or connected to Manningham through a holistic, scaled approach

Who we're looking for

To be successful in the Team Leader role, you will be skilled at, and have at least 2 years' experience in leadership, motivation and development of a team. Your proven experience working together with clients, families, colleagues, and management will hold you in good stead in the delivery of youth services. You will also be flexible and innovative in your thinking, have a passion for change and the ability to reflect on your own behaviours as well as coaching and supporting others to do the same.

You will possess tertiary qualifications in youth work and your strong knowledge of the youth related matters and supporting staff to manage complex presentations and risks will also be an essential attribute to be successful in this role.

What you'll be doing

The Team Leader will be responsible for recruitment, coordination and supervision of the EPIC team, along with meeting all data, evaluation and reporting requirements.

The role will establish a strong and collaborative partnership with Manningham City Council to ensure effective delivery of all aspects of the service, as well as providing information, advice and expertise to Council and participating in all aspects of liaison, strategic planning, coordinating and responding to the youth-related needs of various Council departments. Further, the Team Leader (or other EPIC staff) will represent Council in youth-related forums and networks within and outside Manningham.

Working closely with youth services, you will assist with the provision of integrated pathways and programs for young people under the EPIC Service model Empower, Partner, Innovate, Connect. Working with other professionals within the Manningham Council area, within a variety of disciplines, our team is dedicated to giving young people the best possible support.
